Gilbert, Arizona (July 22, 2010)…The Gilbert Small Business Alliance announces their “Endorsement” for the Arizona Legislative District 22 Elections.
The GSBA endorses two candidates for the two positions of Legislative District 22 House of Representatives:
Brett Petillo
Eddie Farnsworth
At last night’s forum candidates spoke to a room packed with small business owners and their friends. The event was part of the GSBA’s “2010 Statesmen’s Tour.” The endorsement process included written responses to a questionnaire, video taped interviews with the State Election Committee, and the Candidate Forum culminating in a straw poll vote. Among an excellent slate of candidates the GSBA State Election Committee members believe Mr. Petillo and Mr. Farnsworth stand out as candidates that best exhibit the background, principles and tenacity needed to protect small business interests and foster a favorable business environment in Arizona. The comments by members were many. “As a business owner suffering in this economy, I really relate to Brett Petillo,” one member noted. Another member stated, “Farnsworth deals with business issues on a daily basis and has the experience to restrain over reaching government.” The GSBA encourages everyone to meet your candidates, do your homework, and vote informed.
