Small businesses are the backbone in every town and city. In a community they help create the culture, uniqueness, variety, and a sense of connectedness. Many small businesses live in the community they work in and are vested in the health and vibrancy in a very personal way. You are a small business, a leader, and a great asset to our community. This is the message we foster at the GSBA. And we achieve in a variety of ways:

• We partner with other community groups and organizations to demonstrate our small businesses are active company citizens.
• We look for opportunities where small business owners can utilize their strengths and skill sets in varying leadership positions.
• We engage and connect small businesses and the community through programs and events.
