First turn off the main water source going into the valve system. Then if you are looking directly down on the valve you will notice 4 to 8 screws in a round figuration or square figuration if the valve is square.
Unscrew those screws and the top half of the valve will come apart from the bottom half. The wire will still be attached. (try your best to remember what screw went to which hole... for some odd reason this makes it much easier to put the valve back together when you are done) Now once you have the valve apart there will be another small piece inside. It will be a round usually black rubber ring called the diaphragm. Take this out and make sure there is no dirt or large fragments that are on it or that have pierced it. (If this diaphragm is pierced or has any indentations on it this could be your problem. You will have to replace it. You can't buy a diaphragm by it self. You with have to buy a whole new valve and use the new diaphragm from it) Last after you have examined that the diaphragm is good (keep the diaphragm in your hand)..with the valve still apart turn back on the main water source to the valve and leave it on for about 4 seconds. The water should just gush out of that valve and thats fine. Turn the water off and put the valve back together again. Then when its back together tight you can turn your water on again and try the valve out like normal.

I hope this all makes sense tkirkum! Let me know if it does not. Its alot to explain in writing.

The valve was replaced recently. The two valve system is hooked to a timer. The other valve appears to be working fine. I have tried switching the wiring into different configurations without success. Please forward the instructions to flush the system.

Thanks,

Yes if the whole entire valve was replaced it could be a few things.... 1 it could be the wiring connection was not hooked back up correctly. Is the valve hooked up to a timer? or 2 usually when a valve is replaced dirt can easily get into the main line during the process. So what you need to do is flush your entire system out. Let me know if you need instructions on how to flush the system.

If you have not seen Phileo's photography, it is amazing. I think everyone should take advantage of this opportunity. Tiffany is so easy to work with and you will love the results. $10 is a steal!!!
